Leeds United fanatic and collector of Match Worn Leeds United shirts @LeedsMatchWorn has shared a picture comparing two matchworn Leeds United football kits - one classic from 1996-97 and one modern from 2018-19. The picture shows off the astonishing size differences between classic 1990s and modern football kits.

What we are looking at a two different matchworn Leeds United football kits - one from Asics of the 1996-1997 season and one from Kappa from Leeds player Pablo Hernandez (height 1.73 m / 64 kg) of the current 2018-19 season. The size differences of the two shirts are extraordinary, with the 1990s kit looking almost double the size.

If you are wondering if the difference between all 1990s kits and today's matchworn jerseys is as big. The 2018-2019 jersey is made by Kappa, who are known for their extremely tight jerseys. So the difference between 1990s and modern Adidas and Nike authentic matchworn jerseys would be not as big.
