One Year After Smashing Adidas - Kompany to Join Puma
Man City defender Vincent Kompany has been spotted wearing the Puma Future Netfit football boots in training today, a clear indicator that he could join Puma.

In August 2017, Vincent Kompany criticized Adidas for "discontinuing great defenders' boot". Vincent Kompany has been lacing up in the same Adidas Ace 17 K-leather soccer boots since more than a year.

Kompany had been sponsored by New Balance from 2013 until summer 2016. He seemed to be not very happy with New Balance's / Warrior's boots as well (he switched to Adidas ahead of the 2016-17 season after just three years with New Balance).
