Nike to Release More PSG x Jordan Kits in 2019-20 and 2020-21
Following the release of the PSG x Jordan collection, it has been revealed that the French super club and the basketball brand have in fact entered a three-year sponsorship.
Instead of just a single collection, we'll see a total of three PSG x Jordan collections released. There'll even be more PSG Jordan kits in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.
It's expected but not confirmed yet that we'll see two new Champions League exclusive PSG Jordan kits released in each of the following two seasons. Stay tuned for the first details on the Jordan PSG 2019-2020 kits as we get them.
According to an AFP source, Nike and PSG hope to earn around €200m in just one year from the deal. This revenue will be split between the club and Nike, with the former hoping it will help to deal with its FFP woes.
"It is amazing, it will help. That is why I tell everybody, don't worry, because our revenue will increase," Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi told AFP.
"We have a lot of things to do of course, but the global brand today of Paris Saint-Germain, with Jordan, can add a lot of revenue, soon and in the season."
