Nike Ditches Prospected Fluo-Yellow Socks For New Inter Milan Third Kit Last-Minute
Inter Milan debuted their brand-new 2018-19 third kit in Saturday's Serie A match against Parma. While many wondered why Inter wore their third kit at home, it were the socks that confused kit fans.
“We feel this kit is rich in Inter DNA,” says Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director. “The Duomo and the St. George cross are Milanese icons and mean a lot to the Inter supporters. This kit is about Inter’s identity and paying tribute to the city and the people they represent.”
Inter Milan Changes Socks Color To Stone Grey

When Inter Milan's 2018-19 third kit was leaked, it was reported that the socks of the grey and blue kit would be fluo-yellow, just as the insert in the neck. Serie A's official kit guide says that Internazionale's third kit socks would be "gialli fluo" (fluo yellow), but the Inter 2018-2019 socks presented on the launch pictures and used in the match are grey, just as the kit.
There is no info why Inter Milan's 18-19 third kit features fluo-yellow on the neck and why Nike changed Inter Milan's sock color.
The Nike Inter Milan 2018-19 third kit socks are not available to buy yet, interestingly.
