Closer Look | Nike Creates Special White / Gold France World Champions Boots
For their first game as the new world champions, Nike has created special white and golden boots for their sponsored France national team players. We already reported two times about them, and now we finally get a closer look at all the cleats for the likes Mbappe, Varane and Umtiti.
It’s been almost two months since that Sunday in July, the 15th to be specific when France raised the World Cup at the (rainy) sky of the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. Tonight, during the first gameday of the Nations League, the new world champions will take the pitch against the former world champions, Germany. Your eye may fall on some of the French players’ feet, as they will be particularly striking and shiny because of the special boots realized for the occasion by Nike Football.
At Nike models at the French players's feet - Mercurial, PhantomVSN, Hypervenom and Tiempo - will be entirely dedicated to Les Bleus and their second World Cup triumph (despite that the Phantom Vision was released after the 2018 World Cup).
Unlike it was rumored yesterday, the special Nike France World Champions boots won’t ever hit stores.
France's Nike players will wear the special boots during tonight's match at the Allianz Arena against Germany and on Sunday at the Stade de France against Netherlands.
