WATCH: Beats by Dre 2018 World Cup Ad Revealed - Ft. Neymar Jr., Kane, Özil and Mendy

Beats by Dre recently released their 2018 World Cup ad featuring different Beats-sponsored player such as England’s Harry Kane, France’s Benjamin Mendy, Germany’s Mesut Ozil, Brazils’ Neymar Jr., Belgium’s Eden Hazard, and Spain’s David De Gea. The Beats by Dre 2018 World Cup commercial is dubbed "Made Defiant: The Mixtape".

Beats by Dre worked together with Guy Ritchie on its ad spot for the World Cup. The British director has previously already worked for Nike, creating such iconic videos as the Nike 'Take It To The Next Level' Euro 2008 ad.

The 4-minutes long ad chronicles a young boy inspiration to turn an obstacle into an opportunity (players included in the video are England’s Harry Kane, France’s Benjamin Mendy, Germany’s Mesut Ozil, Brazils’ Neymar Jr., Belgium’s Eden Hazard, and Spain’s David De Gea) with short appearances of the likes of Serena Williams and Thierry Henry.

The Beats by Dre ad takes the form of a visual and audio mixtape, “a mixtape of our defiance,” says narrator Paul Anderson. “Defiance is like, when the odds are stacked against you but you go anyway. So this is how we take it around the world, and how we bring it back.”

“When your time comes, you have two choices. You can be the kid no one’s heard of. Or you can be the kid no one saw coming,” says Beats.

Users of social networks found out that the video, apparently, was filmed not in Russia, but in Kiev: the houses that appear in the frame are in reality located in a residential array of Bereznyaki.
