FIFA Allows France & Argentina to Use Traditional Kit Combo in 2018 World Cup Clash + Surprising Uruguay vs Portugal Kit Info

In the group stage, FIFA made the headlines because of their strict interpretation of the non-coincidence of kit colors. Now the first information about the kits worn in the first knockout stage of the 2018 World Cup have been revealed, showing off that FIFA seems to be not nearly as strict as they had been in recent past such as the 2014 World Cup.

France and Argentina to Use Traditional Home Kit Shirt, Shorts and Socks in 2018 World Cup Clash

Just as it was the case the last time France faced Argentina (in 2009), France will wear a navy shirt, white shorts and red socks. Argentina will use their classic sky blue / white shirt, black / white shorts and white / black socks .

In the second knockout match of the day, Uruguay will face Portugal. Uruguay will wear their sky blue home kit, while Portugal will wear their white away jersey, perfectly matching with Cristiano Ronaldo's special new boots. This comes by quite surprise as we expected that Portugal would rather use their red home jersey.
