All Features & Details: Nike Phantom Vision Indoor and Turf Boots to Feature React Cushioning

We can today reveal that the upcoming Phantom Vision indoor and turf will be the first Nike soccer shoes to include the brand's latest cushioning innovation, React.

Although it first appeared in Nike basketball shoes last year, React made bigger waves earlier in 2018 when the Nike Epic React Flyknit running shoes were launched - quickly drawing comparisons to Adidas and the Ultra Boost.

But what is Nike React? Let's take a closer look at the new tech that will debut in football this summer.

According to Nike, the React foam, which was developed in house (Adidas Boost is actually made by BASF, an independent chemical company), is "a significant breakthrough in footwear foam."

Whereas Nike React is used "as is" on the Epic React running shoes, Nike opted to encase it for the basketball styles in order to improve durability and stability - it's likely we'll see something similar on the Phantom Vision.

Comparing it to Lunarlon in testing, Nike found React to deliver a 13% great energy return.
