No More Same Adidas Kits For 8 European National Teams - Unique Macron Liechtenstein 2018-19 Home & Away Kits Released
Macron and Liechtenstein some weeks ago revealed the country's new jerseys for 2018 and beyond. The new Macron Liechtenstein kit is the first jersey to be unveiled as part of the new partnership between Macron and UEFA in the Top Executive Program (TEP), through which the smaller football federations can take advantage of the Kit Assistance Scheme.
German brand Adidas was previously responsible for UEFA's Kit Assistance Scheme. The Three Stripes were heavy criticized for giving various national teams the exactly same jersey, something that Macron promises not to make. According to the Macron’s philosophy each jersey needs to differ from another because behind every shirt there is a story to know, a tradition to respect and a passion to share. The Liechtenstein kit was designed for the Liechtensteiner Fussballverbrand only.
“Working with Macron is a milestone for the Football association of Liechtenstein in terms of transferring the National identity and pride in national team football. Especially the possibility of designing a custom made home and away shirt is opening a new field of personalization. Liechtenstein is very impressed not only by Macron designers but also by the quality of the product”, explained Andrea Schneider, the marketing manager of the LFV.

Traditionally, the Liechtenstein home match shirt is blue with white details. The Macron Liechtenstein home jersey has a polo collar for an elegant style touch. The badge of the federation is placed on the top left-hand side of the chest, while the national flag features on the back of the collar.
On the front of the Liechtenstein 2018-2019 Macron jersey is the embossed print depicting the Castle of Vaduz, the official residence of the princes of Liechtenstein.
