Adidas Morocco 2018 World Cup Kits Reveal Delayed by Fear of Counterfeits?

Almost all Adidas national teams have revealed their home and away jerseys for the 2018 World Cup. However, fans of the Moroccan national team still have not seen the jerseys the 'Atlas Lions' will wear in Russia this summer. Now several media outlets of the country reported why the jerseys have not been revealed yet.

Moroccan fans on social media were so frustrated that Adidas has not shown 'their' 2018 World Cup jerseys yet that they took Nike's Portugal kits and put the logo of Morocco's Royal Football Federation on Cristiano Ronaldo's jersey, suggesting that "this could be Morocco’s kit for this summer tournament."

Now Moroccan newspaper Al Maasae reported that the Moroccan footballing authorities and Adidas’s executive committee agreed to delay the official uncovering of Morocco’s World Cup kits to avoid forgeries. They are waiting for the appropriate moment to uncover the kits, Al Massae reported, citing Adidas’ concerns about "counterfeit duplication of the kits".

It was not revealed yet when the Adidas Morocco 2018 World Cup kits will be launched.
