Striking All-New High-Collar Knit New Balance Tekela Boots Leaked

One month ago, New Balance released the World Cup edition of the New Balance Tekela, the brand's first knit, high-collar football boot. Now we can reveal a new picture of the second colorway (for the start of the 2018-2019 season) of the all-new knit New Balance Tekela soccer cleat. The New Balance Tekela replaced the New Balance Visaro boot.

Arsenal midfielder and former New Balance ambassador Aaron Ramsey has already given us a look at the all-new cleats in September 2017 (We back then thought Ramsey would have been wearing the next-gen New Balance Visaro cleat - Aaron Ramsey used to wear the New Balance Visaro 2 before switching to the Adidas Predator).

New Balance Tekela - Blue / Navy / Red / White

A completely new design for New Balance soccer cleats, the all-new New Balance Tekela football boots feature an unevenly shaped, heightened collar that made of a neoprene - it is the first high-cut boot of the brand.

The outstep of the New Balance Tekela football bot comes with the brand's classic N logo, while the instep boasts the lettering New Balance. The heightened collar of this New Balance Tekela paint job is flashy red, while the rest of the upper is turquoise blue with a unique subtle lines pattern.

The rest of the upper such as the touch area is made of a leather-like synthetic material. For increased ball grip, the upper of the New Balance Tekela features the brand's new 'kinetic stitch' technology. The cleats come without an external heel counter and a pretty standard sole plate.

New Balance Tekela - Features

  • Made for ultimate control and fit
  • High-cut neoprene collar
  • Synthetic leather-like upper
  • Kinetic Stitch technology for more grip

The blue, navy and red New Balance Tekela soccer cleat is expected to be released in late July 2018 for a retail price of 250 Euro.
