The Adidas Ace Purecontrol Just Got Copied! All-New Laceless Specs 2018 Football Boots Leaked
With Adidas and Nike completely dominating the football boot market, many smaller brands started to copy the most cutting-edge soccer cleats of the big two. The newest copy comes from Indonesian brand Specs, who are set to release their first-ever laceless high-cut football boot in 2018. Called Specs Illuzion football boot, which is quite obviously inspired by the Adidas Ace 17+ Purecontrol.
All-New Specs Illuzion 2018 Football Shoes
This is the Specs Illuzion 2018 football boot.
The Specs Illuzion boot reminds us immediately of the Adidas Ace Purecontrol football boot because of the cut and the overall look. However, a closer look reveals that the visual design of the cleats is not stolen but pretty unique, even though the brandings of Specs are placed on the same positions as the brandings of the Adidas Ace 17+ Purecontrol.
Tech-wise, the Specs Illuzion soccer shoe not only reminds us of the Adidas Ace Purecontrol but looks almost identical. The Specs Illuzion boot has a knitted collar and a laceless upper that is almost identical to the Adidas Ace Purecontrol (the upper part of the collar looks like a mixture of the Adidas Ace 16+ / 17+ PureControl).
The sole plate of the Specs Illuzion 2018 boot is also very similar to the one of the Adidas Ace 17+ Purecontrol, rounding off the pretty audacious copy.
The Specs Illuzion football boot is scheduled for a release in early 2018. It is expected that the Specs Illuzion soccer cleat will retail at around 100 USD, which makes them much cheaper than the Adidas Ace 17+ Purecontrol.
Stolen from the Adidas Ace 17+ Purecontrol? What do you think of the all-new laceless Specs Illuzion 2018 football boots, which will be already outdated when as Adidas is set to release the Predator 18+ this month? Let us know in the comments section below.
