Sweden 2018 Home Kit Released
The Sweden 2018 home kit introduces a very clean and classy in look in yellow and blue, inspired by more than one classic Sweden jersey worn in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Made by Adidas, the new Sweden shirt will be debuted in the World Cup play-offs against Italy.
Sweden 2018 Home Kit
This is the new Sweden 2018 home shirt by Adidas.
The Sweden 2018 jersey comes in the traditional yellow and blue, with a subtle jacquard pattern on the front and a EQT-inspired collar in blue with yellow trim. The Adidas stripes run along the sides of the new Sweden kit, also in blue.
In line with Adidas' other new jerseys, the Sweden 2018 home kit has a clear retro inspiration. The pattern on the front, the same as on Real Madrid's current home shirt, is directly taken off the 1988 shirt, while the shape of the collar derives from the 1992 kit.
While Sweden achieved its first World Cup qualification after many years in 1990 wearing the former, the team already had to leave Italy after the group stages. 1992 saw Sweden host the European championship and reaching the semis, where they lost to Germany.
Blue shorts and yellow socks complete the kit.
