Limited-Edition Sunderland 17-18 Third Kit Released
AFC Sunderland this evening launched a brand-new limited-edition charcoal and gold third kit, inspired by the rich industrial past of the city and produced by Adidas. Dafabet features as main sponsor, just as on the home and away uniforms.

This is the Adidas Sunderland 2017-2018 third jersey.
The Sunderland third shirt is charcoal and gold, with black detailing in the form of collar and sleeve cuffs. The Adidas stripes run along the sides of the design.
Black shorts and charcoal socks complete the kit.
A number of Sunderland supporters who sit in the stands today worked at the Monkwearmouth Colliery, which was the largest coal mine in Sunderland and closed in 1993. Subsequently, Sunderland AFC's Stadium of Light was built over it, opening in 1997.
Former miner Barry Collinson, who now works at the club's facilities department, was tasked with launching the kit tot he public. “I’m very proud to have been a miner and to now work at Sunderland AFC, I feel a special bond to this place and as a Sunderland fan, it’s an honour to be involved in the kit launch and to take part in the photoshoot at Beamish Museum, which brought back some special memories. This new kit will be a hit with our supporters and I’m sure it will bring the team luck,” he said.
The Sunderland 2017-18 third kit is already available to buy in limited numbers.
