Spectacular Unreleased Adidas F50 Adizero AFCON Boots Revealed

@mania_expert, Germany-based Adidas collector, recently revealed what was supposed to become an Africa Cup of Nations edition of the F50 Adizero. Obviously, these stunning blue and gold boots were never released for unknown reasons, and the F50 line itself was discontinued shortly after.

This image shows the cleats, which are one of the most sought-after collectors items right now.

Based on the 2014 generation of the F50, which was released in December 2013, the boots have an upper that features different shades of navy and blue in a graphic print design and pair it with classy gold details.

These details include the Adidas stripes on both sides of the shoe, the Adidas logo on the tongue and the entire sole plate. The CAF logo appears to feature on the sockliner.

Judging by the design and the boot model, these cleats were supposed to be launched for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. Originally scheduled to take place in Morocco, the tournament was moved to Equatorial Guinea because of the Ebola virus epidemic in West Africa. Fittingly, the shoe design mirrors that of the ball of the 2015 tournament, Marhaba.
