Bayern München Debut Hamad International Airport Sleeve Sponsorship
Update: Despite still not having announced the deal on any official channels, Bayern Munich today debuted their new sleeve sponsor, Hamad International Airport, in today's league opener against Leverkusen. Certainly one of the more visually pleasing of its kind.
Hamad International Airport, the international airport of Doha (Qatar) that is owned by Qatar, today announced the enhancement of the current sponsorship deal with Bayern München to become the club's first-ever sleeve sponsor. The latest FC Bayern-Munich jersey with the HIA logo on the sleeve was also revealed to the media at Hamad International Airport (HIA).
Hamad International Airport has been an official sponsor the German Bundesliga giants since January 2016. The logo of the aiport has been on the sleeves of Bayern Munich's training jerseys since then.

No contract details of Bayern Munich's new 'Platinum Partnership' deal with the airport have surfaced yet, while the previous deal was reported to be worth between five and seven million Euro per year, valid for seven years.
Speaking to members of the press H.E. Mr. Al Baker stated: "The strengthening of this fantastic sponsorship between Qatar’s award-winning airport and FC Bayern-Munich, truly demonstrates the State of Qatar’s role as a global leader in sports."
"Starting this season, our players will feature the HIA logo on the jersey’s sleeves," said FC Bayern-Munich Executive Board Member Andreas Jung. "When we signed the contract with Hamad International Airport in January 2016, the sponsor’s badge on the sleeve was already part of our agreement. So far the HIA logo has already been placed on the training uniforms."
Hamad International Airport Chief Operating Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer expressed: "HIA-Qatar’s growing and successful partnership with FC Bayern-Munich opens up new and exciting avenues for this collaboration. We are rightly delighted to have our five-star airport’s logo on Germany’s most-winning team’s jersey."
Interestingly, the controversial deal with Qatar's airport was not announced officially on the club's social media channels and website yet.
