Here's Nike Full 2018 World Cup Boot Lineup - Nike Changes Boot Silo Tier Names Of Hypervenom, Magista, Mercurial & Tiempo

Following up on our earlier post, we are able to reveal the full names of all Nike boot models. As we reported earlier, the brand switched up the names of all takedown models starting with the first complete 2018 collection.

Traditionally, Nike takedown cleats had their own names and generation numbers, which can sometimes be very confusing. This was not aided by the addition and removal of several takedown options, in part due to the emergence of the Dynamic Fit collar.

From February 2018, all Nike boots will carry the full name of the top model of the silo, followed by a suffix specifying the type of takedown. Following is an overview about how this will play out across Nike's four silos.

Not a boot to receive a generation update in the World Cup year, the Nike Tiempo soccer cleat models are renamed nonetheless. The top model will be known as Nike Tiempo Legend VII Elite.

In addition to this, the current FootballX models will be adjusted to match the respective cleated boots. The Proximo, Finale etc. nomenclature is dropped. An example would be Nike Mercurial SuperflyX VI instead of Nike MercurialX Proximo III.
