Hyundai A-League club Melbourne City today held an exclusive event at North Melbourne’s iconic Meat Market venue for 250 fans to unveil their new home and away jerseys for the 2017-18 season. The new Nike Melbourne City 17-18 jerseys introduce modern designs.
Melbourne City FC striker Bruno Fornaroli said: "Getting to see the fan's faces when they saw the kit for the first time was amazing. Putting on the shirt and wearing the badge is always an incredible source of pride, and seeing how much it means to fans makes it even more special. I cannot wait to put on the shirt and get out on to the pitch."

Not unlike the new home jersey of sister club Manchester City, the Melbourne City 2017-18 shirt is sky blue and based on the latest iteration Nike's infamous one-for-all template. A thin white stripe runs down each side of the jersey, while the collar is all-blue.
The Nike Swoosh is placed centrally on the Melbourne City 17-18 kit, with Etihad (front), DON and Nissan featuring as sponsor logos.

Nike Marketing Director, Brant Hirst said: "We're excited to provide a kit packed with innovation and performance benefits to give Melbourne City players an edge on the pitch, brought to life in the dynamic new City blue."
