Real Madrid To Renew Fly Emirates Shirt Sponsorship Deal
Real Madrid's contract with Fly Emirates will expire in Summer 2018. However, it is very likely that the airline will remain on the front of Real Madrid kits beyond the 2017-18 season.
Fly Emirates' deal with Real Madrid was originally signed in 2013 for five years, replacing shirt sponsor bwin. The deal is worth 25 million Euro / season (up to 30 million Euro with bonuses), which is much less than what other big teams such as Barcelona and Manchester United receive currently.
Real Madrid to Have Fly Emirates On The Front Beyond 2018
ABC reports that a new Fly Emirates Real Madrid kit sponsorship deal would be worth 40 million Euro per season, which is less than what FC Barcelona will receive from Rakuten (45 million Euro / season).
"We are very happy with them, we have two years contract and we will renew the agreement for several more," Real Madrid told ABC some weeks ago.
Real Madrid will fly with a special Airbus A380 carrying the images of Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, Ramos and Marcelo during the pre-season in the United State. Real Madrid will face, amongst others, Barcelona in the first-ever USA Clasico this summer.
