All-New Adidas Futurecraft 4D Runner Revealed
Adidas today announced it has partnered up with Carbon, a pioneering 3D-printing company, to create the Futurecraft 4D sneaker.
Adidas Futurecraft 4D brings the first-ever high-performance sneaker made with light and oxygen using "Digital Light Synthesis", a process championed by Carbon.

Compared to the aforementioned earlier releases, the new Futurecraft 4D shoe features a completely redesigned midsole - the part of the shoe that is actually 3D-printed - that is not only thicker but also has a different shape to it.
Besides that, the upper of the updated Adidas Futurecraft 4D sneakers is mostly the same, although the absence of the Ultra Boost heel counter is noticeable.
The Adidas Futurecraft 4D runner will first drop in a limited run of 300 pairs for "friends and family" this month, before a more widely available launch of 5,000 pairs later this year. Adidas aims at production levels of up to 100,000 by the end of 2018.
