Low Cut & Flyknit: All-New Nike Hypervenom Phantom III 2017 Boots Released
The launch of the third generation of the Nike Hypervenom also brings an update to the low-cut edition of the model, now known as the Hypervenom Phantom III. Part of the first Nike 2017 collection, the red and green Nike Hypervenom Phantom III cleats will go on sale on January 30.
Nike opted to rename the tier previously known as the Phinish in an attempt to highlight the great feature evolution the low-cut Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3 has undergone. The most prominent players to wear the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3 soccer cleats have got to be Gonzalo Higuain, Harry Kane and Wayne Rooney.

A strong, color-blocking look, the first-ever Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3 cleats are split between green on the outside and orange on the inside. The two Swooshes, sitting on the outside rear and instep of the Nike Hypervenom Phantom III, are black, as is the majority of the sole plate.
In terms of features, the Nike Hypervenom Phantom III is the first low-cut Nike boot to feature a Flyknit upper. The flexible upper of the new Nike Hypervenom cleats is 3D-textured in critical ball touch areas and features Flyknit strings on both sides for improved lockdown. In addition to that, the sole plate was completely reworked for the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3. Read more about all that in our more in-depth analysis of the Nike Hypervenom 3.
Compared to the Nike Hypervenom Phinish, the all-new Nike Hypervenom Phantom III low-cut boots see a quite heavy price increase. They retail at $260 (€250, £200). They go on sale on January 30, 2017.
