Additionally, Mundo Deportivo claims that the 'new' deal with Qatar Airways would be worth far below the initially reported €65 million per year, but would in turn not include the Barcelona training jerseys anymore.

RAC reports that the club hopes that the new Barcelona shirt sponsor deal can be announced before the first friendly of the pre-season against Celtic on June 30. The radio station also reports that Amazon and Qatar Airways are the only remaining options after Japanese-based retailer Rakuten opted out to be their new shirt sponsor.
However, as reported from RAC1, the figures being considered in the case of the US multinational are still far from the 65 million euros proposed by the president Josep Maria Bartomeu, and it still seems more likely that Qatar Airways will be on the front of the Barcelona 2016-2017 kits in the end.
