Silver Next-Gen Adidas X Leather Euro 2016 Boots Leaked
Adidas will launch the second-gen X 16.1 boots in a leather variant, with the first-ever colorway being a predominantly silver effort that will be worn at Copa America and Euro 2016. The Silver Metallic Adidas X 16.1 Leather soccer boots will be launched in early June 2016.
Adidas X 16.1 Leather - Silver Metallic / Core Black / Solar Red
This is the first-ever Adidas X 16.1 Leather soccer cleat.
Just like the synthetic version, the Silver Metallic Adidas X Leather 2016 boots are silver with accents in red and black. The red, officially "Solar Red", is used for the heightened techfit collar as well as the lower half of the studs of the silver Adidas X 16.1 Kangaroo-Leather boots, while all brandings are black.
The next-gen Adidas X 16.1 Leather boots have a soft kangaroo-leather upper, while they include the same techfit collar as their synthetic counterparts, designed to offer a sock-like without any distractions. An elaborate stitching pattern, similar to that of the leather editions of the discontinued Adidas F50 Adizero boots, is present in the forefoot area of the silver next-gen Adidas X 2016 Leather cleats. The other parts of the shoe are not made from genuine leather and thus don't feature additional stitching.
Apart from the upper, the second generation of the Adidas X Leather football boots are identical to the synthetic Adidas X 16.1 in terms of features. They come with a completely redesigned outsole with an external heel counter and a stability-establishing arch in the midfoot part.
Set to be available to purchase from early June, the Silver Metallic Adidas X 16.1 Leather soccer cleats retail at $200 (€200, £160), the same as the synthetic variant.
