Inspired by the iconic River Plate home kits and a historic match in 1986, the River Plate 2016 third kit brings an all-new look to the Argentine club.

This is the new River Plate 2016 third shirt, made by Adidas.

In 1986, River Plate famously won an away game against Boca Juniors in which an unusual orange football was used. 30 years on, Adidas honors the 1986 championship with a full collection which even includes a remake of the orange Adidas Tango ball.

The River Plate 2016 third kit is orange and features a broad black sash on the front. The design of the new River Plate third jersey is rounded off with a black crew-neck collar and black Adidas stripes on the shoulders and sleeves. A special icon remembering the 1986 match against Boca Juniors is placed on the right chest of the River Plate 2016 third shirt.
