Inter's Davide Santon Shows Off Laceless Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots
Inter Milan defender Davide Santon returned to Inter's training sessions after the Christmas break wearing the pink Nike Mercurial Superfly Lightning Storm Pack Boots. Based on the standard edition of the Nike Mercurial Superfly Lightning Storm Pack Boots, Davide Santon's Nike Mercurial Superfly Football Shoes combine the bold main color pink with contrasting black applications. However, whereas the regular edition of the Nike Mercurial Superfly IV Boots logically comes with normal laces, Davide Santon put off the laces. What could be the reasons for this unusual move?
The most likely reason is that Davide Santon put off the laces to avoid pressure on his ankle after he missed four games with Inter in late 2015 because of a bruise on his ankle. However, it remains pure speculation why he put off the laces of his boots, so we won't further speculate.
