Wilfried Bony to Leave Nike? Man City Striker Laces Up In Unique Blacked-Out Boots
Is Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony set to leave the Swoosh? The 26-year old Ivory Coast international today again laced up in a unique blacked-out pair of the Nike Mercurial Vapor X Boots in the Premier League clash against Stoke City after he already debuted the one-of-a-kind blackout cleats against Hull City on December 1.
Wilfried Bony has been wearing Nike Boots for almost his entire career, while he is especially famous for blacking out his boots. Therefore, the boots of the Man City striker have been part of countless boot spottings over the past few years.

Based on what looks like the Wolf Grey version of the Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Boots, Wilfried Bony manually painted over his boots to hide any visible brandings. And while he covered the entire upper of his one-of-a-kind cleats with black Edding, the sole of his boots boasts the striking color Hyper Pink of the regular edition of the boots.
Interestingly, while the blackout look of Bony's Boots was almost perfect in the match against Hull City on Tuesday, the first parts of the black color already have came off since then, creating a truly unique looking boot that stood out from all other boots on the pitch (if there wouldn't be David Silva's Blackout Next-gen Adidas Ace 16.1 Boot...).
