Juventus' Cáceres Shows Off Next-Gen Nike Mercurial Superfly 2016 Boots

Juventus defender Martín Cáceres has become the second player to be spotted wearing the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots after Cristiano Ronaldo already gave us a detailed look at the utterly awaited boots in two of Real Madrid's training sessions in early October 2015.

The Uruguay international Caceres currently laces up in the Squadron Blue Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots in official matches. He has been wearing Mercurial Boots during his entire career in Europe.

Close-up pictures of Martín Caceres' Nike Mercurial Superfly Cleats.

Even though the pictures of Martín Caceres blackout boots are not as good as those of Cristiano Ronaldo's Boots seen in early October, the close-up images reveal that the boots worn by the Uruguayan defender feature the same upper structure as Cristiano's boots. And as both Cristiano Ronaldo and Martín Caceres wear the Nike Mercurial Superfly, it is now pretty much confirmed that it was really the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots that Ronaldo was wearing almost two months ago.

Tech-wise, there is nothing new to say about the boots except that Caceres Boots seem to feature a green outsole. But unfortunately, there are no close-up pictures of the sole plate used by the 28-year old defender so we can't say anything more until there are better pictures. However, as Cristiano Ronaldo already gave us an extremely detailed look at the boots, we didn't expect to get many new details about the boots from training pictures anyway.

It was definitely a blackout version of the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots that Cristiano Ronaldo was wearing in October.
