Adidas Extends Spain Kit Deal
Adidas and the Spain national team have announced that they've reached an agreement to renew their contract until at least 2026.
Adidas sponsored the Spain national team between 1982 and 1984 and again from 1992 until today, celebrating Spain's two European championships in 2008 and 2012 as well as the country's 2010 World Cup win in South Africa.
Adidas Renew Spain National Team
Spain will sport Adidas kits until at least 2026.
The previous Adidas Spain deal was due at the end of 2018 and worth a reported €24m a year. It's widely expected that the new Spain kit deal will be worth more than that, although no official numbers have been communicated.
"We are very proud and enthusiast to announce the extension of our successful sponsorship agreement with the Spanish Football Federation. adidas is a global football leader and the Spanish side is one of the strongest teams on the planet, turning this sponsorship into the perfect agreement. We hope to continue with our successful agreement and supporting the Spanish National in future achievements," states Herbert Hainer, CEO of adidas group.
Following today's announcement, Spain will wear Adidas kits at the 2020 and 2024 European championships as well as at the 2022 and 2026 World Cups.

"The extension of our close relation with adidas takes place because we convinced it's the best for RFEF and for the different national teams. We also believe it's profitable for the national team's sports brand. RFEF and adidas have worked alongside each other for many years and will continue to do so until 2026, a period of time we are sure will be fruitful for both parts," states Ángel María Villar, President of the Spanish National Football Federation.
