Military Green - Adidas Legia Warsaw 15-16 Kits Released

The new military green Legia Warsaw 2015-2016 Kit honors the 100-years anniversary of the Polish club, which has a long military history.

Legia was founded in March 1915 during military operations in World War I as the main football club of the Polish Legions. Therefore, the new Legia Warsaw 15-16 Away Kit boasts the main color military green.

Adidas again makes the new unique Legia 2015-2016 Jerseys, which are sponsored by Fortuna. Legia Warsaw will play in the second qualification round of the 2015-16 Europa League.

The new Legia 15-16 Home Shirt introduces a bold Sash design, which draws inspiration from the very first kit of the club. Traditionally, the new Legia Kit combines the colors white and black, while it features golden details to honor the 100-years anniversary.

The front of the new Legia Warsaw 2015-2016 Jerseys boasts the classic black 'L' symbol with a golden star to symbolize Legia's eleven Polish championship titles. Under the crest are the golden dates 1916 and 2016.

The shorts of the new Legia Home Kit are white with a special golden Legia logo. The white socks of the new Legia Uniform feature the golden 'CWKS' abbreviation (Centralny Wojskowy Klub Sportowy - Central Army Sports Club).

The new Legia Warsaw 2015-2016 Away Kit is military green to honor the 100-years anniversary of the club. Based on the same template as the home shirt, the new military green Legia Away Jersey has a black Sash and gold details.

Green shorts and socks complete the bold Legia Warsaw 2015-16 Away Kit.

'The centenary logotype is pure form, in which each element matters. We didn't want to add any unnecessary ornaments. We also didn't want to use the number 100 because it doesn't characterise Legia as directly as the 1916 date. The slanted band in the logotype on the shirts is golden to underline the uniqueness of where it's placed, and to ennoble the kit even more. However, on the most creations connected to the Club's centenary celebrations the band is going to be black, just as it was on the shirts in 1916 and in the second longest used crest,' added Bartosz Jabłoński.
