Adidas Manchester United Kit Deal Details Revealed
It's almost time. Just one week from now, Manchester United will finally make the big switch from Nike to Adidas. And while all the new United Adidas kits and training wear have already been leaked plenty of times, new details of the record-breaking Adidas Manchester United kit deal have emerged.
Regarded as one of Ed Woodward's finest moments at Manchester United, the negotiations between Adidas and Manchester United lead to most, if not all, of United's demands fulfilled.

Some details from behind-the-scenes of the Adidas Manchester United kit deal have been brought to light.
Whereas Nike, according to the Sportsmail, took less than one hour to dismiss Manchester United's wish list for a possible renewal, Adidas grabbed the chance and signed the massive Manchester United kit deal, worth £75m (€106m) / year until 2025.
Besides other major disagreements between Manchester United and Nike, the way sales were handled for club merchandise other than kits or training shirts was reportedly one of the main obstacles for a renewal to go through.
After a 50/50 split was in place between Manchester United and Nike, the English giants will now get the full sales of all 'other' club merchandise like clocks, pajamas or t-shirts. Last year, only two million of five million Manchester United branded item sales were Nike jerseys.
Following the loss of Juventus and Manchester United to Adidas this summer, Nike only retain three global top clubs, in Barcelona, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
