Nike Coventry City 15-16 Kits Released

Coventry City will sport a red away kit for the first time 2006-07, while the new Nike Coventry City 15-16 Home Kit draws inspiration from the 1987 FA Cup Winning shirt. The new Coventry City 2015-2016 Kits are made for the first time by Nike, who are replacing previous shirt supplier Puma.

Coventry City signed a four-year deal with Just Sport Group, a UK-based distributor for Nike. The new Coventry 2015-16 Jerseys will be worn in the upcoming League One campaign.

Coventry City 2015-2016 Shirt

This is the new Nike Coventry City 15-16 Home Kit.

Inspired by the shirt worn in the 1987 FA Cup Final, the new Coventry City Shirt boasts sky blue and white stripes on the front and the sleeves of the shirt, while th back is mainly sky blue. Based on the Nike Striped Division Teamwear Jersey, the new Coventry City 15-16 Home Jersey features a simple v-collar.

Chief Executive Steve Waggott said: “We’ve decided to look to the past to inspire a new, positive future at the club. The new kit, with the Sky Blue and white stripes and the famous Nike swoosh, represents a new period in this club’s history as we strive to improve the club’s position, image and our connection with the fanbase.

Similar to the 1987 FA Cup winning shirt, the new Coventry City 15-16 Home Uniform is combined with navy blue shorts and university blue socks.

Nike Coventry City 2015-16 Away Kit

This is the new red Coventry City Strip.

The new Coventry City 2015-2016 Away Jersey boasts the main color University Red with black applications, based on the Nike Challenge Teamwear Kit. It's the first time since 2006 that the new Coventry City Away Shirt is red, while Coventry City's new Away Kit is also their first stand-up collared shirt for nine years.

White shorts and red socks complement the new Coventry City Away Kit.
