The new Nike "American Women" film celebrates the US Women's World Cup team ahead of their first match in the 2015 World Cup. Part of the Nike #NoMaybes 2015 Women's World Cup campaign, the new "American Women" ad features players such as Abby Wambach and Alex Morgan.

"American Women" features Abby Wambach, Alex Morgan, Sydney Leroux, Carli Lloyd, Christen Press and Megan Rapinoe. The Nike "American Women" film captures the journey from training to their first match of the 2015 Women's World Cup.

“You have to have a team mentality with the competitiveness of the individual,” said U.S. Women’s National Team captain, Abby Wambach. “You want to make sure that everyone around you has the same mentality and then enmesh those individualities. We are masters of controlling ourselves and bringing out the best in each other.”

The Nike "American Women" film includes the unique Blue Lagoon / Volt Nike 2015 Women’s World Cup Soccer Cleats Collection, which was already launched in May 2015.

The new Nike "American Women" film was launched ahead of the US Women's World Cup opener against Australia on June 8, and includes the song "American Women" by The Guess Who.
