Last Nike LunarGato Boots Colorway Released
Has LunarGato reached the final whistle? In Summer 2015, Nike will revolutionize its small-sided football boots collection.
It was already rumored some weeks ago that Nike could stop making the famous small-sided Nike FC247 Boot Collection, which currently includes the Nike Elastico, Nike Lunargato and Nike Bomba Soccer Boots. In December 2014, Nike fueled speculation with the launch of the Black Nike Elastico Superfly CR7 Special Edition, which was in fact more like a Mercurial Superfly than a Elastico Superfly.
Nike LunarGato II Black / White / Poison Green
This is likely the last Nike LunarGato 2015 Boot Colorway.
The new black Nike Lunargato II 2015 Football Shoes feature a dark color scheme with black Nike brandings to herald the end of an era. Made for ball control in small-sided indoor and street games, the Nike LunarGato II Boots were launched in March 2013. The Nike LunarGato II Boot features Lunarlon cushioning for comfort and a super soft upper.
While the goat leather in the forefoot area of the new Nike LunarGato 2015 Boot Colorway is black, the other parts of the Nike Lunargato II Indoor Soccer Shoes feature a dark multicolor pattern.
The new black Nike LunarGato 2015 Football Boot Colorway is the last paint job for the LunarGato Soccer Shoes, which will be stopped in Summer 2015. Nike will also stop producing the Nike Bomba Finale Boots, while the Nike Elastico will be re-branded as Nike Mercurial Indoor Boots.
Nike will launch an indoor and turf version of the Nike Magista Obra Boots, which will be called Nike Magista Proximo and was already leaked, set to replace the Nike LunarGato.
