Nike to end small-sided FC247 Boot Collection
In Spring 2015, Nike will stop making the FC247 Collection, Nike's popular football boots collection designed for small-sided soccer games on different surfaces. Launched in March 2013, the Nike FC 247 Soccer Shoes Collection was designed for football anywhere and anytime.
Update 04/02/15: With the launch of the new Nike FootballX small-sided boots, it is confirmed that Nike will stop making the Bomba, Elastico and Lunargato Boots.
Nike ending its FC247 Boots Collection?
The Nike FC247 Football Shoes Collection includes three unique boots designed specifically for different surfaces. The first of them is the Bomba Finale II Boot, which features ACC (All Conditions Control) technology and a NikeSkin upper with conical studs designed for small-sided turf games.
The Nike Lunar Gato II Soccer Shoe uses a supple leather for the upper to improve the ball-to-foot feel, while it also reduces the break-in time. The Nike Lunar Gato II Boots are designed for fast small-sided street games.
In Summer 2014, Nike brought the revolutionary Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots to the small-sided football with the cutting-edge Nike Elastico Superfly Boots. The Dynamic Fit collar, the Flyknit upper and the tongue-less design of the Nike Elastico Superfly revolutionized small-sided games forever.
Nike will launch the first Indoor Magista Obra Boot
The extremely popular Nike Elastico Superfly Boots did overshadow the Nike Bomba Finale and the Nike Lunar Gato Soccer Boots. For the first time, Nike allowed players to choice between two different sole plate options for the Nike Elastico Football Shoes.
The Future of Nike's Small-Sided Football Boots
In March 2015, Nike will reveal the first Indoor and Turf versions of the Nike Magista Obra Boots. The new 2015 Nike Magista Indoor and Turf Soccer Shoes will feature the same technologies as the cutting-edge Magista Obra Cleats, made for ultimate ball control and a sock-like fit with a Dynamic Fit collar.
Similar to the Nike Elastico Superfly CR7 Boots, the new 2015 Nike Mercurial Superfly Indoor and Turf Boots will feature the same logo positioning as the Nike Mercurial Superfly Cleat and will be promoted as Nike Mercurial Indoor Soccer Boots.
Nike will step up their small-sided football boots game with two cutting-edge football boots from Spring 2015. It will also allow Nike to bring innovation from 11-a-side football boots to small-sided games faster than ever before.
