Aston Villa Makes Fun of The New Leeds Crest in the Best Way Possible
Leeds United really didn't have the best of crest launches today. After all, it took the club's supporters just one hour to amass 4,000 signatures in a petition demanding to scrap the new design.
The sentiment that was more prevalent around the world however was that the new Leeds United 2018 crest looked like 'one of those fakes ones from Pro Evo', i.e. Pro Evolution Soccer or PES.
This attracted the attention of fellow Championship side Aston Villa, who will take on Leeds in April and created the following matchday poster for it, complete with the two teams' fake names from PES, Aston Villa's fake logo from the game and, of course, the actual new Leeds logo. It has to be said it doesn't look out of place, at all.
We can't wait for this one, @LUFC...😏
