The Nike Mercurial FlyLite SuperLock 2018 Shin Guards are not all-new but are an update of the revolutionary Nike Mercurial FlyLite shin guards that were released in 2014. The innovation is the addition of SuperLock layers spikes into sock fibers to keep guards from sliding.
Apart from SuperLock, they are the same as before. The Nike Mercurial FlyLite SuperLock Shin Guards use geometric columns and webbing to replace traditional foam. Flexible shells are thicker in the middle, while tapering at the edges, creating a fit that seems to disappear as shells curve around.
Nike Mercurial FlyLite SuperLock - Features
- Foam-free columns enhance breathability and disperse impact
- SuperLock layers sock fibers into guard shells for security
- Tapering at shell edges creates a sensation of disappearing into the leg
- Flexible shells mold to the curvature of your legs for a natural silhouette
The Nike Mercurial FlyLite SuperLock Shin Guards will retail at a price of around 55 USD. They will hit stores in July 2018.
