Costa Rica 2016 Kits Released
- Home Kit: The 2016 home jersey is red and white with golden accents to celebrate the Copa America's 100th anniversary, featuring unique details like "Limited Edition 2016" lettering.
- Away Kit: The away jersey is primarily white with red accents and includes a 1990 World Cup-inspired badge, also with golden details marking the anniversary.
- Brand and Occasion: Both kits were created by New Balance for the 2016 Copa America, featuring a gold New Balance logo and "Limited Edition 2016" lettering for the anniversary.
New Balance and the Costa Rica national team today unveiled the new Costa Rica Home and Away Jerseys for the 2016 Copa America Edition.
Costa Rica 2016 Home Jersey
This is the new Costa Rica Home Shirt.
Combining Costa Rica's traditional home kit colors red and white, the new Costa Rica 2016 Copa America Shirt features a golden New Balance branding to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the inauguration of the Copa America.
Inside the neckline is the golden lettering 'Limited Edition 2016', on the back under the collar is the lettering Costa Rica, and on the sleeve cuffs is the tricolor of the flag of Costa Rica. A subtle mesh effect rounds off the design of the shirt.
Blue shorts and white socks are set to complete the new shirt of La Tricolor.
Costa Rica 2016 Away Kit
This is the new Costa Rica Away Jersey by New Balance.
Based on the same template as the Home Kit, the new Costa Rica Away Shirt is predominantly white with a red collar and red sleeve cuffs. In memory of the 1990 World Cup, the Costa Rica 2016 Copa America Away Kit includes a badge that resembles the one used back then. It consists of the flag of Costa Rica, with Costa Rica written above in red letters.
The New Balance logo, as well as a "Limited Edition 2016" writing on the inside of the neckline are golden in honor of the 100th anniversary of the first-ever Copa America tournament.
