Boot Watch #009 | Almost Endless Unreleased, Unique and Outstanding Boots
We are back with the ninth edition of our already infamous Boot Watch. And while last week's Boot Watch has proved to be extremely popular amongst our avid followers, we hope that this Boot Watch can again meet the high expectations.
Luis Suarez | Solar Gold / Shock Pink Adidas X 15.1
FC Barcelona superstar Luis Suarez was one of the various players who already laced up in the unreleased Solar Gold, Shock Pink and Black Adidas X 2016 Boots Colorway. And as he celebrates his 29th birthday today, we decided that he must be the one player to be featured.
Dele Alli | Adidas Ace PureControl
Tottenham's Youngster Dele Alli, who is one face of the all-new Adidas Ace PureControl Football Boots, has become the first player to score in the branded version of the laceless boots. And while he not only scored an ordinary goal, his spectacular volley against Crystal Palace gave the laceless Adidas boots even more attention this weekend than even we expected.
Michel Morganella | Cut-Off Gold Nike Mercurial Superfly
Palermo's Michel Morganella laced up in a custom golden Nike Mercurial Superfly Boot with a cut-off Dynamic Fit collar.
Yanga-Mbiwa | Black Adidas Ace PureControl
Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa from Olympique Marseille has become the first player to be spotted wearing the unreleased black paint job of the Adidas Ace PureControl Boots. He is set to debut the boots with the stunning sole plate in tonight's league clash against Olympique Lyonnais that kicks off in a few minutes.
Adrianinho | Still Mysterious Boots
We still don't know exactly what he has been wearing. Fort Lauderdale Strikers Adrianinho, whose boots just don't go out of our head, has been lacing up in a mysterious pair of soccer cleats which are - at the moment - most likely fake Nike boots he bought online.
Michy Batshuayi | Modified Adidas X Boot Combo
OM's Michy Batshuayi was spotted wearing the odd boot combo of the Solar Red Adidas X 15.1 (released in September) and the Black Adidas X 15.1 (released in December). Interestingly, he not only wore this odd combo, but also received the famous custom Adidas X Boots with the Sprintframe outsole from Adidas, in line with players such as Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Javi Martinez | Unreleased Black Adidas Ace 16.1 Leather
Javi Martinez was one of the few players who has been seen wearing the alternative launch colorway of the next-gen Adidas Ace 16.1 Boots. Another players who will sport the black, green and pink boots is Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels, while there are much more Adidas players who will give the bold boots some 'high-profile on-pitch player support'.
Henry Martín Mex | Red Adidas X
Henry Martín Mex was spotted this week wearing an one-of-a-kind red-out Adidas X 15.1 Boot. But as he is playing for a team that forces their players to wear only red boots, that's nothing really special.
Carli Lloyd | Nike Mercurial Superfly "Leave Your Legacy"
FIFA Women's World Player of the Year Carli Lloyd debuted her stunning Nike Mercurial Superfly "Leave Your Legacy" Boots a few days after Lionel Messi, who laced up in his 'award boots' last weekend.
Ireland Women's Player ? | Custom Nike Tiempo Legacy
Whereas the boots of Carli Lloyd are outstanding but designed by Nike, a player of Ireland's Women's national team laced up in a yellow and blue pair of the last-gen Nike Tiempo Boots that she designed with Nike's customization service NIKEiD.
We again hope you enjoying reading through this week's Boot Watch. And as always, please let us know if you have another spot or found an error in our work.
