Nike Mercurial Superfly 'Original' Tribute Boots by Swoosh Customs

What if Nike would bring back the original design of the Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots ahead of the launch of the next-gen Nike Mercurial Superfly? Instagram graphic designer Swoosh Customs, who already got it right with a concept boot pack that turned into reality recently (Nike Mercurial Vapor III Tribute Boots Collection - Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 34K Gold and Quinhentos), has created a one-of-a-kind boot merging the design of the first Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots with the current Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots.

Originally released in 2009 and headlined by Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly Boot was the first Nike football boot to feature the revolutionary Flywire strings for ultimate lockdown and fit. Weighing in at just 185 gram, the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly Boot was the lightest Nike boot at that time. Pushing the silo into a new era, Superfly "became the highest expression of the Mercurial idea".

Nike Mercurial 'OG' Concept Tribute Boot

This is the Nike Mercurial Superfly Tribute Cleat by @swooshcustoms72.

Mirroring the design of the original red, silver and navy Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly Boot, the Nike Mercurial Original Tribute Cleat by Swoosh Customs boasts a unique half-and-half upper design while featuring a remarkable small Swoosh on the medial side.

Tech-wise, the concept edition combines the sole plate of the first Nike Mercurial Superfly with the revolutionary Flyknit upper and the Dynamic Fit collar of the fourth generation of the Nike Mercurial Superfly.
