Adidas Ace Prototype Boots Revealed

Today is the day. Adidas just revealed new unique prototypes of the Adidas Ace 2015-2016 Soccer Cleats ahead of the 2015 Champions League Final in Berlin.

The new Adidas Ace 2015 Football Boots are made for players who control the game, and are worn by former Adidas Adipure 11pro, Adidas Nitrocharge 1.0 and Adidas Predator Instinct athletes such as Philipp Lahm, Koke and Mesut Özil. Thanks to SoccerBible for the pictures.

The unique Adidas Ace Prototype Boots were firstly presented at the launch event of the new Adidas Ace and X Boots at Chelsea's training ground last week.

This is an early concept of the Adidas Ace Football Boots.

Initially developed under the working title Adidas Control High Boots, the new Adidas Ace 2015 Prototype Soccer Boots feature a distinctive honeycomb design in the forefoot area, and an external heel counter for more stability.

The first design sketches of the Adidas Ace Soccer Boots show early concepts of the new Adidas Control Boots featuring a remarkable Adidas lettering on the upper, while lacking the iconic Three Stripes. It's good to see that Adidas' designers reflect on the iconic 3 stripes design, even though the massive Adidas lettering was only used for the earliest prototypes.

The first black / yellow Adidas Ace 2015 Prototype Cleat boasts a Solar Yellow forefoot area with a honeycomb upper structure, combined with a black heel area featuring an early version of the external heel counter.

The second Adidas Ace Prototype Boot boasts a remarkable dot 3d upper structure in the forefoot area, something which didn't make it to the final product.

Interestingly, the first pictures of a blackout Adidas Ace 16.1 2016 Prototype Soccer Boot were already leaked this week. Adidas is set to introduce an all-new design for the Adidas Ace Football Boots in 2016, which includes a bold new design for the famous 3 stripes.
