Nîmes is a town in the South of France and historically known for its textiles and patterns and the landscape of Nîmes is said to have inspired today’s rugged denim as well as the silk shawls worn throughout Europe in the 18th century.

The crest of the new France 2014 World Cup Jersey is inspired by the 1958 one to reflect the history of the country. The cockerel-design has been enlarged to become again the symbol of French national pride.

The short of the new France 2014 World Cup Home Kit will be white, while the socks will be red. They could also wear white socks at the 2014 World Cup.
